Terms of Service

Effective date: October 21, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and VietTS CO., LTD ("VietTS", "we", "us"), the developer of the VPN Lite app for iPhone and iPad (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

If you got the App from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA") also applies. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA about your license to use the App, the Standard EULA wins.

1. The service

The App lets you connect your device to VPN servers of the public VPN Gate network. These servers are run by volunteers. They are not owned or operated by VietTS. Because of this:

• Servers can go offline, change or slow down at any time. Speed and availability vary by server, country and time of day.
• Some websites and services block VPN connections.
• VPN Gate and the server operators keep connection logs under their own policies.
• A VPN protects your traffic between your device and the VPN server and hides your IP address from the sites you visit. It does not make you anonymous and does not protect you from every threat.

The App is free. It does not require an account and has no paid plans.

2. License

VietTS gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as allowed by the App Store Usage Rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the App, except where the law allows it.

3. Acceptable use

You are responsible for how you use the App. You agree not to use it to:

• Break any law that applies to you, including laws about VPN use in your country
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy of others
• Send spam, distribute malware, or attack, scan or gain unauthorized access to any system or network
• Commit fraud, harass others, or share content that exploits or harms children
• Overload, disrupt or abuse the servers, our systems or the VPN Gate network
• Interfere with or trick the ads in the App, or the way rewards work

VPN server operators and VPN Gate may cooperate with authorities about abuse. We may limit or stop access to the App if you break these Terms.

4. Ads and rewards

The App shows ads from Google AdMob while the VPN is off. Ads are never personalized. Some features may offer an optional reward, such as access to high-bandwidth servers for a period of time, if you choose to watch an ad. Rewards have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may change or end at any time. If you decline a reward, you can still use the free service.

5. Third-party services

The App relies on services from third parties, including VPN Gate, Google (AdMob and Firebase) and Apple. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them. VietTS is not responsible for third-party servers, websites, content or ads. An ad does not mean we endorse the advertiser.

6. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, code, graphics and the VPN Lite name, belongs to VietTS or its licensors. These Terms do not give you any rights to them other than the license in section 2.

7. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, VietTS makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the App or any server will be secure, uninterrupted, error-free or able to reach any particular website.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, VietTS will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. This includes lost data, lost profits or damage caused by third-party servers, websites or ads. Our total liability for any claim about the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App, which is zero. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

9. Changes and termination

We may update the App, change or remove features, or stop offering the App at any time. We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and for significant changes we will also tell you in the App. If you keep using the App after a change, you accept the new Terms. You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it and removing its VPN configuration.

10. Apple App Store terms

If you got the App from the Apple App Store, you and VietTS also agree that:

• Agreement. These Terms are between you and VietTS only, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). VietTS, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
• Scope of license. Your license to use the App is limited to Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
• Maintenance and support. VietTS is solely responsible for maintenance and support of the App. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support.
• Warranty. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App (if any) to you. To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by a failure to conform to a warranty are VietTS's responsibility, to the extent these Terms do not disclaim them.
• Product claims. VietTS, not Apple, is responsible for any claims by you or a third party about the App or your possession or use of it. This includes product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
• Intellectual property claims. If a third party claims that the App or your possession or use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, VietTS, not Apple, is solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
• Legal compliance. You confirm that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that the U.S. Government has designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Third-party terms. You must comply with the terms of any third-party agreement that applies when you use the App, such as your mobile carrier's or internet provider's terms.
• Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept these Terms, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, unless the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence say otherwise. If a part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in effect.
